Wow, it’s been a long, long time since I last blogged. Yikes! Apparently having a third child and adopting a black lab adds quite a bit to your plate. And when said plate was already rather full, things get a little dicey. I feel like I’ve been in survival mode since early winter! But now that spring is starting to, well, spring, and our youngest has gone from 4 wake up calls to 2, I’m beginning to feel like myself again.
But, with as busy as things have been, blogging/getting photographs, etc. hasn’t even been on my radar. So, it’s pretty amazing to out of nowhere flip open a magazine and see a house that we worked on a couple years ago featured by Spaces Magazine in their Before and After edition!
I shared this same project with you all last April, but it’s fun to see how a different photographer – Aaron Leimkuehler – captured the same spaces. (See all the pictures in Kansas City Spaces’ article here)
This was one of the most enjoyable projects we’ve worked on of late, and it’s timely that Spaces featured it this month, as the head of our Design & Estimating department – Pat Muller – leaves tomorrow to fly with one of our lead carpenters to Scottsdale, Arizona to receive a Regional CoTY award for the master suite of this very project!
So, shout out to Spaces Magazine and to these wonderful clients for letting us collaborate on such a stunning project!
