What do you love about your work here at Scovell?
One of my favorite things is interacting with clients and seeing their excitement when their dreams for their home come to life. I love that this is an everyday reality in Scovell. I find it to be truly rewarding.
Why design + build?
I believe a design thrives most when handled by the same people from start to finish. Design + build enables a vision’s core values to be carried from design through selections and construction. Each decision and detail is made with the client’s preferences in mind. There is no need to worry about communicating preferences with multiple entities nor wonder if details might get lost in the translation between an architect, interior design, and builder.
Describe your design aesthetic.
I would say that I'm most inspired by simplicity and nature. I like neutral colors and natural materials that can be styled timelessly throughout the years. I also like moments of interest and warmth that can be achieved by color, art and small details. I believe there isn't one aesthetic that fits all. My aim is to be a resource for my clients and guide them through selections and styles that speak to them the most.
What is your favorite kind of space to design?
Each room in the house comes with its own unique excitement and challenges. I gladly embrace them all.
