Pete Collins
SITE SUPERINTENDENT
Pete has been a carpenter for over 35 years, 2 decades of which have been with Scovell Remodeling. His combination of skill, experience & his eye for detail make him an invaluable member of the crew. His extensive knowledge allows him to excel at communicating with clients and subcontractors.
Pete likes the challenge that custom carpentry offers and has worked on projects ranging from ground up builds to embassy remodels in Washington D.C. Though his particular strengths are in trim and finish carpentry, he’s very well rounded in all aspects of construction. He enjoys learning about new technology and methods associated with home building and remodeling. He can honestly say that he loves his job, even after all these years.
Describe your part in the build process.
As a Site Superintendent, I’m very familiar with each specific project I’m on and make sure the designs are executed as outlined in the plans. I am also a finish carpenter and do a lot of detailed millwork.
Favorite tool?
Impossible to choose. All my tools are my favorite at the time of use.
What is your favorite kind of project to work on?
Definitely a whole house remodel. It’s great to see the full place transformed.
