Randy Keen
Project Manager
Randy grew up in Napa, California before moving to the Kansas City area to attend Avila University on a baseball scholarship. Post graduation he took on a job with a remodeler as a Carpenter Apprentice which captured his interest in the ability to transform a space from outdated into something both the client and builder could be proud of.
He prides himself on being a lighthearted and compassionate person who is goal oriented and driven. This is evident in the way he delivers not only a great product but also a positive client experience.
He is most proud of the family he’s built with his beautiful Wife, Roni, and two children, Kinkade and Billi. Watching them grow into amazing young people and getting to do it with his best friend is something he will never take for granted.
Describe how your experience in the field supports this role.
My construction background is pretty diverse and I think that will help tremendously in the ability to see all aspects of a project to be able to relate to a wider variety of subs and clients.
What is your favorite kind of project to work on?
I love outdoor spaces such as outdoor kitchens and covered patios or sunrooms. I think this is because I’m drawn to social gatherings and I love to imagine all of the beautiful memories made in those spaces.
What do you love about your work here at Scovell?
Being a Project Manager is a great fit because it allows me to combine my construction background and experience with my love of building relationships with new people. Helping to bring a client's vision to fruition and transforming a space into something new and exciting is super rewarding.
