A Kansas City native, Chrissy brings a unique blend of leadership, people and operations-focused experience, and a lifelong appreciation for the homes and spaces where life’s most meaningful moments unfold. She earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Missouri, where she competed as a student-athlete on the tennis team – MIZ! Her time as an athlete shaped her appreciation for teamwork, discipline, and leadership, values she carried into over 15 years in the nonprofit sector where she built her career around developing teams, cultivating strong cultures, and helping organizations create meaningful impact.

Her transition into the remodeling industry was a natural extension of what has always inspired her: bringing people together, solving complex challenges, and creating environments where people can thrive. Chrissy believes that great homes and great organizations are built through thoughtful collaboration, attention to detail, and a shared commitment to excellence.

With a passion for design and a deep appreciation for the character of older homes, Chrissy has experienced the remodeling journey firsthand through two major renovations of her own. Those experiences have strengthened her admiration for the craftsmanship, creativity, and care that transform a house into a place where families gather, celebrate, and make memories. She has long admired Scovell’s work and the way each project tells a story uniquely shaped around the people who live there.

Chrissy has called the Brookside neighborhood home for more than 15 years, where she lives with her husband, Aaron, and their three children, Caroline, Andrew, and Henry. Outside of Scovell, Chrissy enjoys serving her community as a board member for WIN for KC and as a volleyball coordinator and coach for St. Peter’s. She is passionate about empowering girls through opportunities in sport and believes in the lasting impact that athletics can have in building confidence, leadership, and community.
